Dedicated to the memory of Colin Clark

This site is a tribute to Colin Clark, who was born on November 08, 1944. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

Colin's funeral will be a small and private family affair. We ask that there are no flowers or cards. If you would like to make a donation to Beating Bowel Cancer that would be very much appreciated. Please click on 'Fundraising for Colin' at the top of this page.

Thoughts

Dearest Colin Chas and I both have always had such great respect and love for you. We always admired your many strength, talents and qualities. You were always so kind, welcoming and warm to the both of us and we will treasure our special sharing times together with you, Angela and the family. A thoroughly good man and soul showing such strength till the very end. We shall miss you. May Peace and love be with you always. Savina and Chas

Grandad, you were the most strong minded family man I will ever meet in my life time. Your passion and drive to please and cater for everyone's individual needs was phenomenal, even when hard time occurred. Even though you had your stubborn ways, I'm sure that thoughs traits mellowed into every individual life that you made an impact on. From Pinkies to Po my memories will forever be in Olmond Drive with all the magical Thomas the Tank Engine toys and the fox in the back garden. I know you wouldn't have wanted us to be sad about you not being in our lives anymore however we've lost such a large space in our lives and nobody will ever be able to fill again. So everyone has to grow and give a little more to the world in order for us to carry on. I would hope to grow up and become as caring, considerate and helpful just like you. Also to have the strength and determination to tackle what life throws at me even to the bitter end. Thank you for being an inspiration, love your only granddaughter xx

I met Colin and his family through my wife Diane. The three things I shall remember most about Colin were; the importance of his family to him; his sense of humour and his vegetable trug. (Inspired me to get one) His sense of humour came to the fore at my 65th birthday bash when Colin asked me what I would like to drink. 'A small beer please Colin' I replied. He goes to the bar with a spring in his step and comes back with a whiskey shot glass of beer. 'Small enough' he says with a big grin on his face. I can only finish by saying 'Colin it was a privilege knowing you'. Terry
